Euphrasia, or eyebright, is a genus of about 450 species of herbaceous flowering plants in the family Orobanchaceae. Native to Europe, this plant’s common name refers to the herb’s use in treating eye infections. Eyebright removes inflammation and tightens mucous membranes making it a great tool to combat allergic conditions affecting the eyes, middle ear, sinuses, and nasal passages.
